PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE AND HEARING

Pursuant to W. Va. Code §8-11-4(a)(2), notice is hereby given that on the 21^st day of May 2024, the Town Council of the Town of Bath (Berkeley Springs) caused to be read an Ordinance proposing an increase in its water rates, fees and charges, the implementation of Capacity Capital Fees, the assessment of certain other fees and charges, and other minor changes in the text of its water tariff P.S.C. W.Va. No. 14.

AN ORDINANCE SETTING FORTH THE RATES, FEES AND CHARGES FOR SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS OF THE

WATER SYSTEM OF THE TOWN OF BATH (BERKELEY SPRINGS)

A public hearing on the Ordinance will be held on July 2, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as practicable), in Council Chambers at the Town of Bath Municipal Center, 271 Wilkes Street, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.  At the hearing, any interested party may appear and present comments or protests, if any, with respect to the proposed Ordinance.  The Bath Town Council may have its final reading and vote on the Ordinance in the same location immediately following said public hearing.  A copy of the Ordinance is available for public inspection at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town of Bath (Berkeley Springs), 271 Wilkes Street, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.
