Train Depot RFP
Now Accepting Bids
The Town of Bath, Berkeley Springs, WV invites proposals to provide all Work, including but not limited to labor, material, equipment supplies and transportation for the abatement of Asbestos Containing Materials in the Berkeley Springs Train Depot. The project includes the removal of approx. 1,900 SF interior wall and ceiling plaster, 1,300 SF gypsum board, 50 SF floor tile and mastic, and 10 SF wall tile. Antimicrobial disinfectant will be applied as needed.
Sealed proposals will be received by the Town of Bath at the following location until 2:00 PM, local prevailing time, on Friday, October 1, 2021 in accordance with the Invitation to Bid and the bidding documents. Submit proposals to: Ms. Sharron Corrick, Town Clerk, Town of Bath, 271 Wilkes Street, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.
The bids will be openly publicly. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
The project shall be funded by Federal and State funds. Davis-Bacon wage rates apply to the project.

A Prebid Meeting is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Train Depot, 342 N. Washington Street, Berkeley Springs, WV. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL PROSPECTIVE GENERAL CONTRACTORS; optional for interested sub bidders and material suppliers. All bidders should attend Meeting to familiarize themselves with the Project conditions and other relevant information.
All questions are due to the Engineers at pmcclain@millsgrouponline.com no later than Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 12:00 PM with response back to the contractors no later than Friday, September 24, 2021 by 1:00 PM.
A Bid bond executed by a surety company in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid. No Bid may withdraw for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids.
Any contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he/she has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State and subdivision in which the work is to be performed.
