10:00am – 11:00am Forsythia Planting
We need your help planting a hedge at the north end of the town near the Train Depot, across from the Post Office.
Bring forsythia stems, 1 to 3 feet in length with a minimum diameter of 1/4 inch. Rooting hormone will be supplied.
Planting will involve no digging. Park on the Depot Lot Coffee, water, and pastries available.
11:00am – Noon Celebration of Berkeley Springs Green
Completion of the Railyard Remediation and Streetscape Green Infrastructure Projects
Announcement of plans and grant awards for the Railyard
Noon – 12.:30pm Reception
Light refreshments and Cacapon Mountain Brewing tour
12:30pm – 1:30pm Green Infrastructure Walking Tour
Walking tour of the new projects on Washington Street and Congress Street Rain Gardens
Bring forsythia cuttings with you, or arrange a pick-up.
