Hiring Announcement

The Town of Bath Police Department, Berkeley Springs WV is looking for either Certified or new hire Police Officers. Part time positions for Certified Officers available.

New Hire Qualifications needed.

Be able to complete the following examinations.

1. Be 18 years of age
2. Pass a Physical Agility Test
   1. 18 Situps in one minute
   2. 28 Pushups in one minute
   3. 1 ½ mile run within 14 minutes and 36 seconds.
3. Background investigation to include Drug testing
4. Be able to Legally carry a Firearm
5. Polygraph examination
6. Psychological Examination
7. Physical examination
8. Valid Driver’s License
9. Must be able to complete the West Virginia’s Basic Police Academy within one year of hiring.
10. Any other testing as needed by the State Police Academy
