Water Line Replacement Project
Dear Berkeley Springs Water Works Customer
As you are probably aware the Berkeley Springs Water Works (BSWW) is planning a water line replacement project in your neighborhood. The upcoming construction is expected to affect your property in some manner.
In most cases we will only need temporary easements executed by landowners to allow our contractors on your property while the water lines are being replaced or meters are being relocated. In a few cases, we will need a permanent easement to relocate the existing water lines.
We have scheduled an informational meeting for Thursday November 12th at the Blue Ridge Community College (Some will remember it as the old War memorial Hospital) at 6 PM. We will have the engineer, water manager and others involved in the project available to discuss the project and how it might affect your property during construction. We will also have a Notary Public available for those that wish to sign off on the right of way process and help get this worthwhile water line project underway.
The benefits of the completed line replacement are obvious. When complete we will have new lines, better water quality, improved delivery and new fire hydrants in the area for your protection. If you have any questions please call 304-258-9152
