We are extremely excited to announce Mountain View Solar has offered to donate their time and materials to help us bring solar power to Greenway Cemetery in the form of lighting in our maintenance shed. The shed has been without any power or lighting and the costs to put electric in were far beyond our means. We contacted Mountain View Solar in hopes of finding a more cost effective option. We never imagined they would be so generous! We will keep you posted once this project is underway! If you are considering an alternative form of energy, keep them in mind. They are a great company and give a lot to the community.

Jeanne Mozier hosted a lovely volunteer recognition ceremony at The Legion Saturday Morning. In her words..."The 34th annual Community Volunteer Day found all these happy folks, plus a half dozen more who could not make the event, being honored by 24 local organizations. We all should be the ones smiling when we consider all the work these people do as volunteers to keep our Morgan County world spinning on its axis. On behalf of everyone -- thank you. L to R moving back and forth from front to back: Danielle Swope, Codi Ford, Otto Schlicht, Pete Gordon holding missing honoree Sandy Heath's print of GW in a bathtub, Anna Peck, Mary Lynne Herald, Penny Bohrer, Joann Wachter, Ashley Mason, Stan Oaks, Jaanine Glascock, Chuck Hampe, Helen Soper, Sherry Talbert, Bob Wurster, Katie Hoffman, Payton Brown, Susan Gurson.
