Our town is about to get a little more spectacular! Saturday some of our parking meters will be transformed into masterpieces! Artists will begin the first phase of the project by painting the parking meters on Independence Street between Wilkes Street and Mercer Street. Due to this, there will be NO PARKING allowed at those meters from 8am until dark Saturday, July 7th. We look forward to seeing the art work and surprises the artist have in store for us. Below are a few examples of designs used in other towns.

The parking meters on Independence Street have been repaired. If you should have difficulty with a meter, please take note of the meter number and notify us so that we may address it. We check meters periodically, however we depend a great deal on you to let us know if something isn't working right. Thank you in advance and have a wonderful weekend!

There was a wonderful turnout for the Green Streets Press Event in the park yesterday. The Chesapeake Bay Trust officially awarded six grantees including the Town of Bath. Larry Lower and Mayor Scott Merki spoke on behalf of the Town. Grantees displayed their plans for their upcoming projects on posters and were available to explain the ways they were implementing green infrastructure. After the press event, attendees toured town to see first hand the how the Town of Bath has implemented green infrastructure in past projects and ways we will be incorporating it further in the future.
